It applies uniform heat to round-bottom flasks with a low-watt density utilizing a knitted and braided heating element with a multi-stranded resistance wire for increased durability and flexibility. It has a pre-molded fiberglass liner with wool and ceramic insulation, covered by a fiberglass cloth outer shell. Useful for temperatures up to 842°F (450°C).
